Mary is a celebration of chilli crisps, inspired by flavours from across the globe, with each spoonful a mouth-watering blend of crisp, fragrant spices and deep savoury flavour.
Built on a foundation of onion and garlic, it combines toasted fennel, cumin, cinnamon and cardamom for warmth, depth and body. Hints of Szechuan peppercorn and toasted coriander seed bring a gentle citrus note and signature tingle.
Finally, for umami depth and moreishness, we add shiitake mushroom, New Zealand kelp and tamari for a beautifully balanced chilli crisp — layered, aromatic and quietly complex.
Equally at home over dumplings, noodles and rice as it is on pizza, pasta or eggs on toast.
Ingredients: New Zealand Grapeseed oil (50%), onion, garlic, chilli flakes (5%), gluten free soy sauce, stock powder (sea salt, maize maltodextrin, cane sugar, natural vegetable flavours, yeast extract, onion, celery disodium guanylate & inosinate, canola oil), brown sugar, sesame seeds, szechuan, coriander, fennel, cumin, black pepper, kelp flakes, salt, cinnamon, cardamom, shiitake mushroom powder, star anise.
